WhatsApp full conversation text is not displayed since the latest version of WhatsApp

Since the latest version of WhatsApp (2.12.449), full conversation text is no longer available within WhatsApp notification.
This happens due to a change in WhatsApp app that requires a paired and connected Android Wear device to be able to produce rich notifications with full conversation. This change is preventing NiLS to access this content for users without an Android Wear device.

Unfortunately there is nothing NiLS or any other app can do - to get access to that information.

However, NiLS v1.7 (the next upcoming version) will retrieve some of this information back (only the latest unread messages) using a different notification content channel.

Meanwhile, here are some things you can do about it:

1. Contact [e-mail] and complain about this - tell them that you need Android Wear notifications without having to have an Android Wear device. Hopefully if many users will contact them - they'll revert back this limitation.
2. Revert to older version of WhatsApp. versions below 2.12.400 may work fine. see http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/whatsapp-inc/whatsapp/ for all of the older versions of WhatsApp.
3. Switch to "Grouped" or "Separated" mode under NiLS > App Specific Settings > WhatsApp > Notification Mode. This will not return the conversation text but will include all of the unread content that appears on the original notifications on the notifications bar.
