Samsung S5 - How can I use NiLS?

Samsung S5 doesn't support lock screen widgets at all. so can't use NiLS widget or any other lock screen widget.

Fortunately, you can still use Notifications Panel, it doesn't need widgets to run, just enable it on NiLS main settings page and you'll get notifications on top of your lock screen.

    The NiLS Floating Panel extension doesn't seem to do anything without the NiLS lockscreen widget. What am I missing?

    It has nothing to do with the widget, it will work no matter if you have widgets or not.

    When I get a text message, it doesn't display the content of the message it only says "new text message"! How do I make it display the content also? I have the S5 new.

    I can't get the app to open at all which is super frustrating. I download it but it doesn't appear in my app list and if I try to access it directly from the app store my only option is uninstall not open. Was support on the S5 pulled entirely? Galaxy S5 with Android version 4.4.4

    I believe you accidentally downloaded NiLS Unlocker and not NiLS.
    You should download NiLS from Google Play:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.roymam.android.notificationswidget&hl=en

    I installed NiLS and it is working, but when I get a text message, it doesn't display the content of the message it only says "new text message." How do I set it up so I can see the actual sender of text messages on the lockscreen?

    Nils floating panel does not seem to work correctly after the Lollipop update on my S5 - it misses notifications like crazy. I like Nils much better than the stock lock screen notifications, but I had to stop using it

    Lence , please open a ticket and I'll try to help you make NiLS work with the new update. Please also try to uninstall NiLS and reinstall it again.
